Parent Network

The St Peter’s Parent Network provides the link for parents to be actively engaged with the school community to improve the academic and social outcomes for their children.

The Parent Network has its own Facebook group where any events are advertised and online resources are shared.  Information is included in school newsletters for families who don’t use Facebook.

The Network facilitates educational presentations, as well as social and networking activities for the community.  These activities are driven by parent feedback and input from the school and CSP.  The Parent Network works closely with the school to deliver targeted career development for students in collaboration with the Careers and Pathways Adviser and teachers.

The Parent Network allocates one or two parents to be year group contacts each year.  Please refer to newsletters, the Facebook group or COMPASS for contact details for specific contact details.

School Advisory Group

The Advisory Group is a requirement from the Catholic Schools Office and is designed to help our school community thrive. The group is expected to provide independent and/or expert advice to the Principal and Senior Leadership Team.

The School Advisory Group is comprised of parent, student and staff representatives who meet once each term.  These meetings are weekday breakfast meetings.  Membership is refreshed annually via an expression of interest request from the Principal.

Volunteering

The St Peter’s community always welcomes parent/ carer volunteers to ensure your child obtains their maximum potential.
