Two of our students, Duncan F and Bodi B, competed in the Australian Surf Lifesaving Championships in WA last weekend, and we are extremely proud to announce some incredible results! Congratulations to Duncan who won GOLD in the U15 Male Beach Flags, and also to Bodi who’s team came 4th in the U14 Swim.
Both boys also did very well in other events; Duncan made the semi-final of the beach sprint, narrowly missing out on making the final with 5th place. Bodi made the individual swim final, semi-final in the Ironman and board rescue, and his team came 8th in the swim-board relay final.
What an amazing achievement and experience for them both. To qualify and compete at this level requires an immense amount or training and commitment, and these results are true reflection of their focus and dedication to their sport.
