HUMAN SOCIETY AND ITS ENVIRONMENT (HSIE)
Studies of human societies and the world in which we live are comprehensively explored through a number of different topics. What we study in the classroom is reinforced with field work, excursions, and incursions to give a well rounded and deeper understanding what the students have learned.

Global environments and citizenship – An exploration of various world eco systems and our impact on them.
History
World History from ancient to medieval times – an examination of how human beings in the past have created their own unique societies and how these have subsequently contributed to our own.

Australian environments and communities.

Australian history from the mid 1800’s to today
Commerce
The rights and obligations of consumers in the world of Australian finance.

We develop citizens with knowledge of mankind and how we must work within the natural world to preserve it for future generations. We give the students a greater interest in their world and a hunger for learning that remains with them beyond their school years.
