Outdoor Adventure / Year 10 Outdoor Expedition

At the end of Term 3, Year 10 students set out straight from school, beginning their hike from Little Beach to Putty Beach with a steep climb that tested their endurance right from the start! From there, they made their way to Maitland Bay where they enjoyed a well-earned swim and lunch before continuing the hike.
After preparing their own dinners, the group spent the evening with beach activities and card games, building on the skills and experiences they’ve developed over past expeditions. The next morning kicked off with pancakes for breakfast before heading out to hike the Fennel Flower track in Bouddi National Park and finishing up with a swim at Lobster Beach before tackling a few more stairs to make our way back to the bus.
Blessed with sunshine (and only a light sprinkle on Wednesday morning), the students showed teamwork, resilience, and plenty of enthusiasm throughout their adventure.
A huge thank you to the teachers Mr Laver, Miss Issa and Mrs O’Keeffe who made this opportunity possible for our students!
