At the end of Term 3, our Year 9 students took on their very first overnight expedition with determination and teamwork! After setting up camp at Putty Beach, they hiked 7km to Little Beach in hot conditions, returning to cook their own dinners and enjoy a stunning sunset by the water.
The next morning started bright and early with breakfast before heading out on a shorter hike to the breathtaking Bullimah Spur lookout.
A huge congratulations to all students for completing their first expedition with resilience, high spirits, and plenty of smiles!
A heartfelt thank you to the teachers Mr Laver, Miss Issa and Mrs O’Keeffe who made this opportunity possible for our students!
