The inaugural 2018 Diocese of Broken Bay ‘Battle of the Business Assistants’ competition took place on Friday 2nd November in the wonderful facilities at St Peter’s Catholic College. The competition was run in teams of two, with seven teams from three schools involved; St Peter’s Catholic College, St Joseph’s Catholic College and MacKillop Catholic College. Each team was challenged by a number of real world business tasks within a three hour period and were judged on a range of criteria throughout the process.

Congratulations to our 2018 team winners – Georgina McHugh & Bridie Cartwright from St Joseph’s Catholic College, followed closely by joint second placed teams from MacKillop Catholic College and St Peter’s Catholic College DANIEL CARUANA and RILEY JAEN and St Peter’s Catholic College in third place KLAIR BRADY-ROBERTS and  IMOGEN MORLEY.

We would like to thank all of our Business Services teachers for judging on the day and also for preparing our students with the enterprise skills to be able to compete at such a level. The day would not have been possible without the work and effort of Pauline Dibb in helping to put the competition together. Special thanks also to Jane Pascall from Jane Pascall Marketing Services for providing the winning gifts to the students.

We look forward to running this once again to our Business Services students in 2019!
