Uniform and Stationery Shop

Opening hours

During school term open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8.30am to 2.30pm, closed for lunch between 12.00pm & 12.40pm.

December/January Opening hours

The uniform shop will be opened from 8:30am – 2:30pm the following dates over December 2019/January 2020:

Saturday 14th December 2019

Saturday 18th January 2020

Monday 20th January to Friday 24th January 2020

Tuesday 28th January to Friday 31st January 2020

Monday 4th February to Friday 7th February 2020

Normal uniform shop hours resume on Monday 10th February 2020. During school term open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8.30am to 2.30pm, closed for lunch between 12.00pm & 12.40pm.

Before school, at recess and lunch times.

Start of school year

Open extended hours at other times to assist parents in preparing for the coming new school year. Please check the college newsletter, website and Facebook for additional days the Uniform Shop will be open.

Stock

Uniforms, bags, stationery items and subject books. All articles of uniform clothing and bag (except shoes) are available ONLY at the College Uniform Shop. These items are compulsory.

Shoes

Black, leather, lace-up shoes that can be polished (not sneaker or jogger type) is the only acceptable footwear to be worn, due to safety requirements.

Payment

MasterCard, Visa, Bankcard and Eftpos, as well as cheques and cash.

Seasons

Summer uniforms worn in Terms 1 and 4 with winter uniform worn Terms 2 and 3.

Sport

Students are only to wear sports uniform for the full day of their designated sports day.

Junior Girls’ Summer Uniform (terms 1 & 4)

  • College Dress, with length below the knee
  • Black leather lace-up shoes that can be polished (e.g. Clarks)
  • White socks with College trim
  • Hair ties in black or navy blue only

Junior Girls’ Winter Uniform (terms 2 & 3)

  • College short-sleeved white blouse with trim
  • College tartan, mid-calf length skirt
  • College crested jumper
  • College blazer
  • Ink Navy 70 denier opaque tights (no knee highs stockings)
  • Black leather lace-up shoes that can be polished (e.g. Clarks)

Senior Girls’ Summer Uniform (terms 1 & 4)

  • School tartan kilt-style skirt, at mid-calf length
  • School short sleeved white blouse with school coloured trim
  • White ankle socks
  • Traditional school black leather that can be polished, lace-up school shoes

Senior Girls’ Winter Uniform (terms 2 & 3)

  • As for Junior Girls except for blouse, which is Senior style

Senior Boys’ Summer Uniform (terms 1 & 4)

  • Short-sleeved school white shirt to be worn tucked in
  • Long trousers in school colour

  • Traditional school black leather that can be polished, lace-up school shoes

Senior Boys’ Winter Uniform (terms 2 & 3)

  • Same as Senior Summer, plus senior tie, school navy jumper or vest
  • Navy blazer

 

Jewellery, make-up and hair

Jewellery (Years 7 to 10)

  • 1 pair plain classic style gold or silver studs or sleepers in lower ear
  • No other part of the face is to be pierced except the lower ear lobes
  • 1 watch
  • Band-Aids or clear studs are not acceptable on ears
  • 1 classic gold or silver chain with a religious medallion
  • Bracelets and anklets are not to be worn
  • Only classic simple jewellery is to be worn

Jewellery (Years 11 and 12)

  • Only classic simple jewellery is to be worn
  • No other part of the face is to be pierced except the lower ear lobes
  • 1 watch, 1 ring, 1 bracelet
  • Band-Aids or clear studs are not acceptable on ears
  • 1 pair studs/sleepers/suitable earrings
  • Anklets are not to be worn
  • 1 traditional necklace may be worn but not outside the blouse/shirt

Make-up and Hair Guidelines

  • Hair should be clean and well groomed and complement the uniform.
  • No extremes of hair length, i.e. either too long or too short or a mix.
  • Hair of collar length is to be tied back.
  • Make-up is not to be worn by Yrs 7 to 10 students.
  • Senior students may wear minimal make-up, which is appropriate to a school setting
  • All male students should be clean-shaven at all times
  • Hair that is dyed or streaked in a colour which is unnatural for the student
