The Senior Visual Arts Camp held at Bundanon, a magnificent 1000-acre property, provided an unforgettable experience for students. Accommodated in the incredible Boyd Education Centre, they immersed themselves in a creative learning environment surrounded by stunning natural beauty. Guided through the ‘Tales of Land and Sea’ Exhibition in Bundanon’s renowned Art Museum, students engaged in artmaking activities led by professional artists and educators. Afternoons were spent drawing and painting the landscape, with no phones in sight. The evenings were fun and relaxed, featuring night-time photography, games, and more artmaking. We were grateful to have Mr Bates join us on this adventure, who even shared a thrilling story of being stalked by a speedy wombat! The students’ creative talent and exemplary conduct left us genuinely impressed, and we could not be prouder of them all.
Our favourite student quote was, “This is the best camp I have ever been on – even the showers were good!
