On Tuesday 25th July some of our Year 9 and 10 students competed in the 2023 Science and Engineering Challenge (SEC) at St Edward’s College, East Gosford. The SEC is a nationwide STEM outreach program presented by the University of Newcastle in partnership with communities, Rotary Clubs, and sponsors.
It was a tough category competing against Gosford High School, Central Coast Grammar School, St Joseph’s Catholic College, Gorokan High School and the ET school, with St. Peter’s placing 5th overall!
New records were set by our school on the day, and our students enjoyed the challenge, further enhancing their science and engineering skills outside of the classroom. Well done to all involved!
