The Under 14s Boys AFL team from St Peter’s Catholic College proudly represented the school at the Catholic Schools Broken Bay AFL Championships at Hylton Moore Oval in East Gosford. The boys displayed outstanding skill, teamwork, and spirit across the day, finishing as undefeated champions.
The team started strongly with convincing wins against St Brigid’s and St Edward’s, demonstrating excellent ball movement and pressure around the contest. A tight, hard-fought game followed against Mater Maria, where resilience and determination shone through to secure another win. Against St Leo’s, the boys produced a dominant performance, capitalising on their momentum and showcasing their attacking strength.
The Grand Final against St Paul’s proved to be a tough and competitive contest. Both sides fought hard, but the St Peter’s boys rose to the challenge, holding their composure under pressure and working together to secure victory and claim the championship.
Throughout the day, the team played with great spirit, sportsmanship, and pride in their school. They should be commended for not only their on-field success but also the way they represented St Peter’s Catholic College with integrity and respect.
