The Under 16s Boys AFL team from St Peter’s Catholic College put on an exceptional display of football at the Catholic Schools Broken Bay AFL Championships at Hylton Moore in East Gosford, finishing the day as undefeated champions.
From the outset, the team proved dominant in every match, recording convincing victories against St Brigid’s, St Edward’s, and St Leo’s. Their skill, strength, and teamwork ensured they controlled each contest, moving the ball with precision and applying relentless defensive pressure.
In the Grand Final, St Peter’s faced Mater Maria in what proved to be their toughest challenge of the day. The game was played at a high intensity, but the boys showed composure, discipline, and determination, ultimately pulling away to secure a memorable win and claim the championship title.
