Ash Wednesday marks the start of the season of Lent, a time of reflection, repentance and renewal where we are given the opportunity to reflect on how we can become the best versions of ourselves, and strengthen our relationships with others and with God.
Today our College community came together for an Ash Wednesday Liturgy, receiving the sign of the cross in ashes on our foreheads as a sign of our willingness to enter into Lent.
This day also marks the start of Caritas Australia’s ‘Project Compassion’, a charity which is close to the hearts of our College community. This year’s theme is ‘For all Future Generations’, and we look forward to working together to support this incredibly important cause.
