The College Athletics Carnival was held on Wednesday 3rd of May at Mingara Athletics Track. The event was held in beautiful sunshine and the students participated with great spirit. The attendance at the Carnival was one of the highest on record and all students regardless of their ability had a go at various events.
A big thankyou to our House Captains and Student Leaders who once again were great role models for the younger students and continually drive the College’s house spirit.
We had 6 records broken at the carnival! Congratulations to Tahlia L who broke the record in the Under 14 Girls 800m and 1500m, Dante M who broke the record in the Under 14 Boys 100m and 200m, Marie L who broke the Under 16 Girls High Jump, Marianne P who broke the Open Girls 800m, and finally Charlotte L who broke the Under 13 Girls High Jump. We look forward to sending a very strong team to Broken Bay Athletics at SOPAC on 4th September! 💪
