The College Athletics Carnival was held on Monday 26th August at Mingara Regional Athletics Track. The students were greeted with warm sunshine to compete in. The level of attendance, participation and enthusiasm was infectious and made for a very successful carnival. Some of the highlights on the track included Tristan B (Open) and Liam S (Under 15s) doing the double, breaking records in both the 1500m and 800m runs by many seconds. In the field events Tyler S broke the Open High jump record by 1cm.
These students will lead a very strong team to represent the College at Broken Bay Athletics on Tuesday 3rd September.
A big thankyou to all the student leaders and teachers who worked tirelessly throughout the day to deliver another successful Athletics Carnival.
