Our Junior Girls Basketball Team recently competed in the BBSSSA tournament at Breakers Stadium, Terrigal.
Consisting of a core group of Year 7 students and a couple of Year 8’s, we started the day with a convincing win over Stella Maris. After two more games, we came second in the pool but unfortunately came away with a loss in the semi-final. The girls had a strong cheer squad with support from parents, siblings and grandparents.
The team worked together well and celebrated each shot, showing great comradery throughout the tournament – they will be a strong force next year!
