The Broken Bay Athletics Championships were held at Sydney Olympic Park on Tuesday 30th August. Congratulations to all 55 students who attended the event and competed with great spirit!
Some of the highlights were:
- Zane (year 11) 1st in the 17+ Discus
- Tristan (year 10) 1st in the 16 years 1500m
- Duncan (year 9) 1st in the 15 years 100m and
- Thabisa (Dante) (year 8)Â 1st in both the 13 years 100m and 200m
Tristan, Duncan and Dante went on to compete at the NSWCCC Athletics Championships at Sydney Olympic Park on Monday 12th September, and had some fantastic results there also:
- Tristan 14th in the 16 years 1500m
- Duncan 12th in the 15 years 100m and
- Dante 3rd in the 13 years 200m and 7th in the 13 years 100m
