St Peter’s Catholic College hosted our Annual Pathways Speed Dating event for our Year 8 and Year 10 students. Our students moved around the room to the many pods of industry professionals where they were able to speak for approximately 8 minutes learning about the many different career pathways.
Thank you to our guest speakers who were able to attend; Macquarie University, The University of Newcastle, Australia, TAFE NSW, North Construction & Building, Central Coast Group Training – Apprenticeships and Traineeships, CatholicCare – Diocese of Broken Bay – Early Childhood and Community Services, One Agency Real Estate Group – Real Estate, Sales, and Business, Defence Australia, Central Coast Industry Connect, and Transport for NSW. Unfortunately, due to Covid and flu outbreaks, the following organisations were unable to attend; Borg Manufacturing, NBN Australia, and CSIRO.
It was a great experience and opportunity for our students to interact with industry professionals, Universities, TAFE NSW, VET Education, learn more about Apprenticeships and Traineeships with CCGT and the many thriving industries on the Central Coast.
