This morning our whole College gathered for our Sports Awards assembly to recognise the incredible sporting achievements to date for 2025.
Celebrating St Peter’s sporting successes is about much more than winning trophies or earning medals. It’s about recognising the hard work, discipline, and commitment that our students put into their training and performance. Every achievement – whether it’s an individual milestone, a personal best, or a team victory – represents persistence, resilience, and growth.
Today, awards and acknowledgments flowed for a range of sporting successes, including, Broken Bay and NSWCCC Athletics, Representative Pathways including students Archie W, Lily D, Abbey M, and Lexi R, who represented NSW at nationals, and our very successful College sporting teams, including, Junior Girls Netball, Tennis, Junior Boys Basketball, U14 and U16 Boys AFL, U14 and U15 Boys Rugby League, U14 and U15 Girls Rugby League teams, as well as our coveted MVP awards across all College Teams. To wrap up these phenomenal accolades, we celebrated the impressive performance improvements our athletes have achieved as a result of our Elite Athlete Program.
We also had a surprise appearance from our House mascots for our House Points update – as you can probably guess from the photos, Francis House are in the lead!
The assembly concluded with outgoing Captain, Elijah, presenting an inspiring speech and wrap-up of RU OK? Day
