Yesterday we hosted our annual Christmas in July luncheon for the Wyong Catholic Parish. Our very talented Year 11 VET Hospitality students, guided by their incredible teachers Mrs Gregory and Mrs Clarke, presented two delicious courses of Michelin Star standard! The luncheon was held in our fully equipped Trade Training Centre kitchens and cafe, which was transformed into a beautiful Christmas wonderland to set the scene for our guests.
Our attendees included Father Alex Barnedo and Parishioners from the Wyong Catholic Parish, Marta Chylewska from St Cecilia’s Primary School Wyong and Marcel Arendse from St John Fisher Catholic School, and Parent Engagement Coordinator Jo Helm, Youth Ministry Coordinator Michael Tobin, Assistant Principal Roisin McVeigh, and Principal Tim Hildebrandt from St Peter’s Catholic College.
During the lunch we held a raffle and raised $525 in donations which is going directly to the Wyong Parish Youth Minister to support the Parish’s youth services.
The event was a beautiful way to bring together our Wyong Parish community and Wyong Parish feeder schools, building our relationships and connections.
Thank you to all that attended, we hope you enjoyed the event. And a special mention to our wonderful Year 11 VET Hospitality students, their teachers, and staff for presenting a luncheon of first-class standards!
