This year, we are excited to be a part of the ‘We Care Connect’ Christmas Toy Appeal for Children, a wonderful charity that helps children in need on the Central Coast. This is a fantastic opportunity for our school community to spread some Christmas cheer to children aged 1 to 17 who may otherwise go without this holiday season.
We invite you to donate new, unwrapped toys for the appeal. The toys can be delivered to your child’s home room, the school office, or hand them to one of the student leadership team during morning drop-off.
As a fun incentive, each donation enters your child into a draw to win a $50 gift card – how exciting!
The appeal will run until Thursday, October 31.
Here are a few suggestions for age groups, and gift cards are also welcome – we can use those to shop for any age groups where we need more gifts!
1-3 years
Soft plush toys, stacking blocks, musical toys, bath toys, dolls, musical light up toys, soft cuddly blankets, doll stroller.
4-6 years
Building sets, story books, art supplies, puzzle sets, pretend play sets, bubbles, stickers and sticker books, play modelling kits, play-doh, hula hoop, tea set.
7-9 years
Board games, STEM kits, remote control cars, craft kits, books, skipping rope, LEGO, colouring books, pencils, textas.
10-12 years
LEGO sets, sports equipment, creative kits, games, frisbee, sport equipment, pamper items.
13+
Beach towel, tee shirts & hoodies, art and drawing sets, books, board games, card games, self-care or pamper products, backpack.
