During the school holidays Year 9 student, Jasmine P, competed in the Junior Division of the Australian Dragon Boat Federation National Championships. The competition comprised of a full 2 days of non-stop racing in many 200m, 500m and 2 x 2km races.
Congratulations to Jasmine who had huge success, coming away with 1 Gold, 1 Silver and 4 Bronze medals!
Jasmine has shown sheer grit and determination to step up to this challenging and competitive national level – as a newcomer to the sport paddling less than a year, Jasmine trained hard to reach this level, so this is a massive achievement.
