Today is International Women’s Day, and to celebrate this important occasion, some of our Year 12 young women attended a luncheon yesterday, hosted by Central Coast Community Women’s Heath Centre. Accompanied by Mrs Little and Mrs Helm, the girls heard from industry speakers about some of the challenges women face, and the history of the women’s movement. To top off this inspiring event, the girls enjoyed a lesson in making Goddess flower crowns. On behalf of the College, we’d like to thank Central Coast Community Women’s Health Centre for a wonderful day!
On this International Women’s Day, let’s celebrate the strength, resilience, and unwavering support that women provide each other. Let’s continue to uplift, inspire, and empower one another. Today, and every other day, be the one that fixes another women’s crown when they’re down. Together, we can achieve anything.
