To cap off an incredible year of sport, Miss Atkins and Mr Hawkins had the privilege of taking our Year 7/8 and Year 9/10 Girls’ League Tag teams to Tuggerah Sporting Complex for the final event of the sporting calendar. Both teams showcased exceptional skill and teamwork, finishing their pool games undefeated.
Our Year 9/10 Girls fought valiantly in the Semi-Finals against BWSC, who went on to become the eventual champions. Despite their hard-fought efforts, the girls narrowly missed out on advancing further.
Meanwhile, our Year 7/8 Girls continued their outstanding form, a trend they’ve shown across multiple sports throughout the year. Their dominance was on full display as they delivered a clinical performance in the Grand Final, defeating Gorokan High School with an impressive 16-0 victory.
Congratulations to both teams on their remarkable achievements and for representing St Peter’s with pride and determination. What a fitting way to conclude another successful year in sport!
