It was another successful year at the Future Choices Transition Expo, held at Mingara Recreation Club, where a group of our Year 12 students explored the many services and supports available to them as they prepare to transition from school into employment or further study.
Students attended alongside their parents and carers, engaging with a wide range of providers to learn about the opportunities and entitlements available to them both now and after graduation. The event offered valuable insights into life beyond Year 12, helping students feel more confident and informed about their next steps.
Students and their families were able to participate in informative workshops covering key topics such as the NDIS, planning for life after school, and navigating support services across Australia. Mr Bates was on hand to guide and support students and their families, helping them connect with relevant providers and better understand what life may look like after the HSC.
