On the 4th & 5th of September, the 7/8 Girls Oztag team travelled to Peakhurst to challenge for the All Schools State Title.
After a dominant Day 1 and going undefeated through the pool stages, the girls were confident we could make their mark on the tournament.
The girls continued to impress on Day 2, beating Narrabeen Sports High and Central Coast Sport College in hard fought matches qualifying for the final!
Unfortunately, after an extra time victory against CCSC the girls ran out of steam and lost to a very strong Endeavor Sports High team.
Overall, the girls finished 2nd in the State! An outstanding achievement finishing higher than 4 sport colleges.
A very special thank you to Mr Hawkins for coaching and accompanying the team, and to Grip Star Socks for donating performance socks to the girls for the tournament.
Congratulations girls! Number 2 in New South Wales is something to be proud of.
