We would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to all the parents and parishioners, as well as Fr. Raul and Fr. Alex, that joined us for our Palm Cross Making Workshop yesterday. Our wonderful volunteers made an incredible 800 palm crosses! These will be used during the Wyong Parish weekend masses at St Cecilia’s Church and St John Fisher Mass Centre for Palm Sunday. It was wonderful to have such a great turn out from the Wyong Catholic Parish, St. Peter’s Catholic College, St Cecilia’s Primary School Wyong, and St John Fisher Catholic School fill our College Trade Training Centre, volunteering their time for this event. Their efforts were rewarded with a morning tea, and word is they thoroughly enjoyed the workshop, finding it very therapeutic and a perfect opportunity to connect and chat with members of the Parish and school communities Big thanks to our Parent Engagement Coordinator Jo for organising, and to everyone that donated palm leaves.
