This year, St Peter’s Catholic College was excited to celebrate Science Week with a focus on the crucial theme of ‘Sustainability – More Than Species Survival’. Our Year 7-11 students had the unique opportunity to participate in a series of engaging and informative workshops designed to deepen their understanding of sustainability. These workshops explored innovative solutions and practices that go beyond merely preserving species, aiming to foster a holistic approach to environmental stewardship. Our students were empowered to become the next generation of eco-conscious leaders, ready to make a positive impact on our planet.
Thank you to Arc Ento Tech Ltd Commercial Insect Farm, Dr Karl Kruszelnicki, Perform Education and Girri Girra Aboriginal Experiences who delivered powerful messages to our students.
