Our Year 12 Physics students recently travelled to the University of Sydney to take part in the Kickstart Physics workshops. It was an exciting opportunity to deepen their understanding of key concepts in the Electromagnetism, Nature of Light, and Universe to the Atom modules.
Held in the School of Physics at Sydney University, the excursion included two hands-on sessions where students worked under the guidance of postgraduate physicists. They engaged in a wide range of live demonstrations and experiments.
The day also gave our students the chance to connect and collaborate with peers from St Joseph’s Catholic College and St Brigid’s Catholic College, enriching the learning experience and building a wider sense of scientific community.
