The Boys Under 14’s Rugby League team played in the NRL Cochrane Cup on Wednesday 7th June at Morry Breen Oval. The team were up against strong opposition from St Edwards, Mackillop and the Central Coast Sports College and prevailed winning all three games. They are now Central Coast Cochrane Cup Champions and will play Kincumber High School today for the overall Central Coast Champion School! We wish them the best of luck today.
The boys have also qualified for the State Championships which will be held in Coffs Harbour on the 20th July. A big thank you to our Coach Mr Lynch and all the parents who came out to support the boys.
We also had the Boys Open Rugby Team compete in the NRL Central Coast City Cup on the day. The boys played strongly and represented the College admirably. Game 1 they beat Erina High School 24-0, game two was a 10 all draw against Kariong High School and the final game was a loss against strong opposition from Tuggerah lakes Secondary College. The boys showed great comradery and for some will be their last time playing in a St Peter’s Jersey. Thank you to Mr Beavis and Mr Marquart for training and coaching the boys on the day.
