Last Wednesday at the Central Coast All Schools Primary Oz Tag Gala Day, a special presentation was made to our Representative Sport Coordinator and NRL RISE Schools Program Coordinator, Jacob Hawkins, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to Rugby League in the Central Coast Division. NRL officials honoured Jacob with the NRL Teacher of the Year 2024 award, acknowledging his dedication and hard work for our students and school Rugby League on the Central Coast. Our students, who were present, celebrated Jacob with the loudest cheer.
Our RISE students, who refereed the gala day, were exemplary ambassadors for the College. There was much praise from prospective parents on the day for our students, and our RISE Rugby League Program – a true testament to the positive impact the program is having on our students and their Rugby League development. It’s not surprising that St Peter’s is becoming the school of choice not only for academics, discipleship and the arts, but now for upcoming sports enthusiasts. We are incredibly proud of our students for their outstanding conduct on the day, and also Mr Hawkins for his development of RISE and representative sport at the College.
