In an exciting and action-packed day of rugby league, St Peter’s Catholic College Tuggerah and MacKillop Catholic College, Warnervale NSW once again took to the fields for the 3rd Annual Rugby League Challenge Event. With four thrilling games showcasing both skill and sportsmanship, the event highlighted the talent and determination of our young athletes, as well as the vibrant rivalry and camaraderie between these two schools.
Special thanks go out to our guests, including Sydney Roosters star and St Peter’s alumna, Olivia Kernick, and Dave Boland – owner of Grip Star Socks, who came to support and encourage our players and again provide prizes for our students that received player of the match.
The 3rd Annual Rugby League Challenge Event was a fantastic showcase of the dedication, teamwork, and school spirit that make our sporting community so special. Congratulations to Mackillop and their team captains Tyra F & Tyler B in winning the two trophy matches for the first time and to all participants and supporters for making this event memorable, and we look forward to next year’s rematch and bringing those trophies back to Tuggerah!
