On Tuesday 27th August, the St Peter’s Athletics Team travelled to Sydney Olympic Park for the Broken Bay Athletics Carnival. Students displayed great character and delivered impressive results. Well done to all our team and Congratulations to the following students for pursuing excellence in your field:
Charlie Blackamore – Won the Girls 12 Years 200m and Long Jump, and came second in the 100m.
Harry Hayes – 2nd in the 17+ 800m,
Elliot Mylchreest – 1st in the 16 years Javelin,
Lachlan Rigney – 1st in the 15 years Shot put,
Malakai Simunovic – 1st in the 17+ Shot put and 2nd in the Discus,
Cooper Smith – 2nd in the 16 years 1500m and
Cameron Torpy – 1st in the 16 years High jump.
All these students will now progress to NSWCCC at Sydney Olympic Park on the 21st September. Well done to our Athletics Team!
