As we reflect back on the last day of Term 2 with a little recap of our St Peter’s Day celebrations – what a brilliant day it was!
We began with a beautiful Mass led by Fr. Raul Balute, who also blessed our World Youth Day pilgrims who will be heading to Lisbon, Portugal on the 1st August. To end the ceremony, a delegate from Vinnies presented our Leaders with a certificate in recognition of their fundraising efforts for this terms Faith in Action initiatives – thank you to all our students and their families for your generous support in helping less fortunate members of our community
Following our formalities, the fun began with an array of activities including jeopardy, bingo, kahoot, board games, table tennis, karaoke, guitar hero, photo booth, amazing race, gardening, guess the object and donut eating competitions, music, stalls, face painting, hair braiding and spraying station, ball games, and some delicious cuisine for our One World Day lunch. Then it was GAME ON for our annual Staff vs Students basketball game in front of a mammoth crowd, with our staff coming out on top!
The day concluded with the St Peter’s Talent Quest, and what an amazing show of talent we saw. Special shout out to the Year 12 dance crew who absolutely carved up that stage to finish off the acts!
Congratulations to all our contestants, and to Mia C who took out first place with her powerhouse voice
It was an amazing day, and the spirit of our incredible College community was truly inspiring. Thank you to all our students and their families, staff, parent volunteers, Chatime Australia, Wyong Catholic Parish, and Vinnies NSW for your support and contribution to another wonderful St Peter’s Day.
