The St. Peter’s Opens and Under 15 years Touch Football team attend the Broken Bay tournament at Doyalson on Wednesday the 16th of February. With very limited Touch Football experience the Open team displayed great commitment and grit. First up we had St Edwards, which was a tough game that resulted in a loss. After this game, we had St Leo’s and Mater Maria. The Opens turned things around from the first game and were able to tidy up their defence to come away with two very close draws. Unfortunately, this wasn’t enough to progress to the finals but was a great experience for our year 10 boys who will have 3 years in this competition.
Overall, it was a great day for both the 15s and Opens boys who seemed to enjoy the experience.
