On Tuesday 21st February, the U/15’s Girls Touch Football team played well throughout the day, and demonstrated excellent teamwork skills at the Broken Bay Touch Football Carnival.
The team started strong with a win against St Leo’s followed by a very close game against Stella Maris College. Through the heat of the day the girls kept pushing, however unfortunately came across some stronger schools in our final two games. Congratulations to Elysse, Tameka and Taylah for making trials for the BBSSSA teams, and a further congratulations to Elysse and Tameka for making the team. A special mention to Ainsley for stepping in as Assistant Coach on the day and demonstrating some excellent leadership skills. All the girls should be very proud of their efforts on a very hot and long day.
