On Wednesday evening St Peter’s welcomed back to the College Professional Light Painting photographer, Peter Solness. Our Stage 5 Photographic and Digital Media students participated in a fun and immersive 3-hour Workshop ‘after dark’. Whilst the students have had some experience ‘painting with light’ in their Photo Media class, they were able to create some incredible and creative photographic images under the guidance and expertise of Peter, using an array of light painting torches and equipment in the dark surroundings. The students created vibrant and luminous still-life images, surreal portraits, and colourful spinning orbs with light tunnels for their Digital Portfolio.
We would like to congratulate the students on their enthusiastic engagement and conduct during the workshop and we look forward to welcoming Peter back again next year.
