Yesterday, Year 7 had the pleasure of welcoming over 100 parents to ILP classrooms for our very first ‘Parent Drop-in Day’ to see what learning has been happening in the various Integrated Learning Project (ILP) Teams. There a 6 different’ Growth Projects’ this year in Year 7 ILP. Each offers students opportunities to explore an area of interest or passion.
Parents were able to see performances by our Year 7 band and vocalists, as well as our dancers. There were demonstrations and discussions with our philosophers, our RAW Challenge students, our STEM practitioners and the green thumbs of the ‘Ready, Set, Grow’ Gardening Team. It was a great morning of sharing diverse and deep learning across ILP this year.
Thank you to all parents who were able to join us to offer their support. The students were excited to welcome you into their classrooms. Well done Year 7 and thankyou to all of the ILP staff who have worked so closely with students to develop their core skills for learning and to support their growth this year.
