This term our Year 8 Visual Arts students have been learning about the art movement ‘Surrealism’. The students have studied the artmaking practice of Surrealists, Salvador Dali and Rene Magritte and have completed several artmaking tasks including:
- Digital Collage; exploring scale,
- Scribble Monsters; using continuous line,
- Surreal Rooms; learning about one point perspective and melted objects,
- Surreal Drawings; incorporating tone.
