“STRANGER THINGS”- ARTIST OF THE MONTH
This term during Home-Based Learning, ‘Stranger Things’ has been the inspiration for our Year 8 Visual Arts students in the study of Surrealism. Our wonderful Pre-service teacher, Lisa Attkins has led our students into the world of our dreams and imagination to create Surreal Collage artworks. Using traditional collage techniques or digital imagery the students have surprised and delighted us with some incredibly strange and quirky artworks. Amongst these works we are very happy to announce the ‘Artist of the Month’ award goes to Ruby for her artwork. It is the one with the big slice of lemon and people in the ocean.
