Last Thursday, the Parent Retreat held by Catholic Schools Broken Bay was a huge success, attracting parents from all over the diocese to the St Joseph’s Spirituality Centre in Kincumber. The retreat began with a beautiful prayer led by our very own Parent Engagement Coordinator, Jo Helm, where parents were invited to place a pebble on the prayer space to offer their own prayer for their wellbeing.
Karen Amos delivered a captivating keynote speech, and attendees participated in informative workshops throughout the day. The retreat ended with a beautiful liturgy, leaving the parents feeling rejuvenated and recharged.
We would like to extend a special thank you Jo for her amazing work strengthening our parent community, and to the parents from St Peter’s who attend the day. The retreat provided a much needed break from their busy schedules and allowed them to focus on their own wellbeing, reminding them of the importance of selfcare and taking time to recharge.
