During the recent school holidays, Abbey M travelled over to Perth to represent NSW in the U14 National Hockey Championships, where Abbey and her team won Gold!! This is an amazing achievement for both Abbey and the NSW state team!
Defeating QLD in the Final, Abbey set the tone for success, scoring the first goal of the game. The QLD team fought hard, with both teams on equal scores in the last 30 seconds of the game, leading to a nail-biting penalty shoot-out. Abbey was one of the 5 NSW representatives to be selected to participate in the shootout, where she scored again, bringing the team to a 3-2 victory!
