What a privelege for our College to be part of such a historical day, witnessing the installation of the of the Relics to create a Shrine to Pope St John Paul II. This was a moment in history for our Diocese.
This event took place on the 22nd October at St Patrick’s Catholic Church, East Gosford.
The day began with Mass, followed by time for prayer, exhibits of SJPII, fellowship and a BBQ.
This event was well attended by hundreds of faithful to witness the special installation Mass for Australia’s first shrine dedicated to Saint John Paul II. Before the Mass Bishop Anthony Randazzo blessed and opened the Pastoral Center of JPII. Thank you to the students and staff who respectfully represented St Peter’s Catholic College on this special occasion.
