St Peter’s Student Wins Photography Competition!

St Peter’s would like to announce and congratulate Noah M, of Year 11, for winning FIRST PLACE in the Central Coast Council’s “Your World, Your Way”(YWYW) youth photography competition! This competition celebrates the talent and creativity of young photographers from across the Central Coast, and Noah’s achievement is truly remarkable, with two of his works making the top 20 shortlist. Noah demonstrated exceptional skill and vision in capturing the essence of their world through their lens, impressing the judges with his unique perspective and artistic flair.
Noah was awarded his first-place prize at the exhibition opening on Wednesday 4th April with his family at the Erina Centre Exhibition Space. His incredible prize is $1500 + a share in the YWYW professional development prize package valued at $4,700, which comprised of:
– A personalised mentorship program to develop a body of work for a group exhibition
– A four-week exhibition at Erina Centre Exhibition Space, Erina Fair
– A printed body of work (7-10 images)
– A 12-month (7 issues) magazine subscription to Australian Photography.
Noah’s work is on exhibition until 30th April at the Erina Centre Exhibition Space, Erina Fair (located near the Erina Library). We encourage you to celebrate Noah’s achievement and the other emerging photographers by visiting the exhibition. The YWYW exhibition closes on 30th April.
